The Women in Business Group (WIB) is comprised of a dynamic group of women from diversified career backgrounds with a shared objective; to help women succeed.
Our Mission Statement:
To offer useful information and networking opportunities focused on helping women to successfully meet the challenges they face in today’s business world and learn how to find and maintain balance within.
Making a Difference - Community Service:
In the fall of 2008, WIB forged a partnership with Woodland Job Corp’s STARS (Students, Tutors, Achievement, Retention and Success) Initiative through a mentorship program. WIB members are sponsoring students to foster the growth of tomorrow’s professionals. Starting in 2010, WIB will be extending our community outreach to support a different non-profit group each month that we have a meeting. Meetings
Our monthly meetings are held on the 2nd Friday of each month (excluding some special circumstances) from 9:15 to 11:30 am and features a light breakfast, excluding July & August. March is our special event honoring Women´s history month.
